Transgender Agenda in Schools
Funded by Tax Dollars
The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network
(GLSEN) sponsors "TransAction Day" in schools across Massachusetts
to promote transgenderism and "gender non-conforming"
behavior. For TransAction Day, held this year on Feb. 27, GLSEN
makes available curriculum that includes workshops exploring the
use of gender-neutral language and terminology. GLSEN encourages
students to use their school's Gay-Straight Alliance, a tax-payer
funded club, to sponsor these activities.
- Students are instructed to use pronouns such as "zie"
and "hir" instead of "he" and "she"
or "his" and "hers."
- Students are told to discuss definitions
of terms such as "Butch," "Femme," Drag king/Drag
Queen," and "Genderqueer."
- Students are instructed on sexual reassignment
surgery and hormone treatments.
- Students are told to hold "drag shows"
to raise money for their cause.
- Students are encouraged to advocate for
transgender issues in their schools, including petition drives
to fund costly gender-neutral or multi-gendered bathrooms and
locker rooms.
- Students are instructed to challenge school
policies on male-female couples at prom, homecoming king and queen,
and gender-based colors for graduation gowns.
- Students are given resources on bringing
transgender speakers to school. They are told to encourage teachers
to offer extra credit for attending.
- Students are told that "transphobia"
is on-par with sexism, racism, ageism, and other oppressions.
- Students are told that "exploring gender
(and sexuality) is a healthy expression of growing up and developing
as a person.
